What is
GeoCup?

A three-day online GeoGuessr competition and community event with Hungarian content creators. It's not about pro players: in this format a single bad guess doesn't decide the tournament, so less experienced streamers can make it to the final too.

Whoever isn't playing follows the other matches or practises with their chat. Every broadcast serves the same goal: bringing Alíz's fundraiser to as many people as possible.

Duo mode: first to 5 round wins

  1. The better team guess earns +1 round win. If the scores are equal, neither team gets a round win.

  2. Finals: exactly 5000 points earns +1 accuracy bonus. Once per team per round, including drawn rounds. Scores below 5000 earn no accuracy bonus.

  3. The 5th round win ends the match. The match winner gets an extra +1 bonus point.

  4. Table points = round wins + bonuses. The match is decided by five round wins; bonuses only add to the table points.

Who we play for

Alíz

Alíz is five years old, the fourth child of a family from Kerekegyháza, Hungary. In July 2026 a severe tumour was found in her brainstem. Since then she has had two operations, and her family is searching for every possible treatment in Hungary and abroad.

According to the family's preliminary estimate, the two planned treatments abroad will cost about HUF 37–38 million together, not including travel and accommodation.
